This interesting building is set back from the High Street. It is such an unusual shape that there must be some history to it. If anyone knows please let me know.

This is one of the last remaining buildings in what was known as Red Lion Yard. The area was a notorious slum and was cleared between the wars. I guess that for one reason or another this cottage survived the clearance.

I am always interested to hear anything about Petworth history.
